The ex-boyfriend says he told her she was “messy”, and “she was not right” being there with a new man. In response, Marquisha pulled a black handgun that was concealed on her right hip, cocked the gun, and pointed it directly at her ex-boyfriend, stating “You’re too short to do anything”. She started backing toward the door, at which time he told her he would handle this by the law, and she retreated to her car, and fled the scene. He made a police report, and a felony warrant was issued for her arrest.

At approximately 7 p.m. that evening, Sgt. Fulton, of the Mt. Juliet Police Department, stopped a vehicle for blocking a lane of traffic, and found the driver to be Marquisha Jackson, with a fresh warrant issued from Nashville. She was booked into the Wilson County jail, and then transferred to Nashville to be booked on the charge locally. Once transferred to Nashville, she was booked and posted a $10,000 bond.
