Nashville CBS Affiliate Pulls Gay Pride Month logo after backlash

Nashville’s local CBS Affiliate, WTVF – News Channel 5, spent about an hour today realizing how many say it feels to be LGBT in Tennessee. The station changed its logo to a rainbow for pride month, but after hundreds of threats and negative comments, quickly deleted it from social media, along with the comments, as if it never happened.

When reached for comment, the station declined to comment at this time. Below are the logos the station used for pride month, and their new basic logo, with the pride month logo deleted from the station’s profile photo albums on social media, as well. Other local stations have maintained their Pride month logo, despite any threats or backlash from viewers. Have a comment? Call their newsdesk @ 615-248-5250
