Joshua Hish, better known just as ‘Hish’ in his music career, was denied boarding on a flight out of Nashville Wednesday night. Airport police say he was so intoxicated he was tripping over the level carpet.
Late Sunday night, Joshua Michael Hish, 31, was attempting to board his flight out of Nashville from gate C13 at the Nashville International Airport when he was denied due to his level of intoxication. Airport police responded to the gate due to the disturbance, and report observing Hish with bloodshot, watery, eyes. He was also reportedly unsteady on his feet, slurring his speech, and confused when asked simple questions.
Hish told officers he had 3 alcoholic drinks at Gibson Cafe in the terminal. The attempted to get him to the rideshare pickup area so he could get a safe ride home, however, he was tripping over the flat carpet that the Nashville Airport is recently known for. Due to his high level of intoxication, a custodial arrest was made for public intoxication. Hish was booked into the Metro Jail at 9:11 p.m. on June 19th and was released at 4:34 a.m. with charges dismissed as he became sober.
