26-year-old Kelley Colbert was arrested Tuesday after she admitted to Metro Police she bleached a bundle of her boyfriend’s clothes. He called police to press charges. Colbert is charged with vandalism, and free on a $1,000 bond.
Metro Police responded to a vandalism call on Cabot Drive in West Nashville a few minutes before midnight Monday night and met with the victim, who is listed as the boyfriend of Kelley S. Colbert. The victim reported to police that his girlfriend had vandalized his property, and showed officers a bag of clothing that had been damaged by bleach. Officers spoke to his girlfriend, Kelley Colbert, who advised she did, indeed, bleach his clothing.
The victim wished to prosecute, and Colbert was taken into custody and booked on a vandalism charge. She is free on a $1,000 bond.
