Last June we reported that Robert Crandall had been indicted by the Davidson County Grand Jury on 1 count child rape, and 9 counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13-years-old. Now, Crandall has accepted a 20-year-plea deal in the case.
In the details of the plea, 9 of the 10 charges were dismissed, and Crandall pleaded guilty to one count f aggravated sexual battery, with the accompanying 20-year-sentence. Crandall was taken into custody on Friday, to serve his sentence.
