Metro Police charged 36-year-old Cara King with domestic assault after they say she kicked her husband in the face, causing a bloody and swollen lip inside a Nashville hotel room.
Metro Nashville Police responded to a Nashville Hotel on Thursday, and met with the victim who stated his wife, Cara King, of Sevierville, TN, kicked him in the face after he opened the door of their shared hotel room.
Police noted the victim had a swollen lip that was bloody, and determined Cara King to the be primary aggressor in the domestic situation. The victim did not want to prosecute, but due to state law, the police prosecuted on his behalf, and took Cara King into custody. She was booked into the Metro Jail on the charge of domestic assault on 08/22, and served the mandatory 12-hour domestic violence hold before posting a $2,000 bond.
