26-year-old Ryan Caiman Adams is in custody after he was walking in the middle of Elm Hill Pike, and then tossed his heroin when an officer stopped to talk with him.
Metro Police noticed a man, identified as Ryan Adams, walking in the roadway on Elm Hill Pike on Wednesday. When officer Charles Large stopped to speak with him, he noticed that Adams tossed something away from his body. Officer Large searched the area and located a small bag of heroin. Before he could ask Adams about it, he blurted out “That’s my heroin, I was scared”.
Ryan Caiman Adams was taken into custody, charged with drug possession. A records check showed him to be wanted out of Georgia, and they were willing to extradite him. Adams took an offer on his initial appearance, and received a 10-day sentence for the possession, which is he serving before his extradition.
