57-year-old Sandra Kay Kowalski spent 12 hours in the Metro Jail Tuesday on a domestic violence hold after police say she assaulted her husband to the point of injury. She says it was just a push, and is free on a $2,500 bond.
Metro Police responded to a Nashville residence in the early hours of Tuesday morning, in response to a domestic disturbance. The victim, her husband, states they were in a verbal argument that became physical when she hit him multiple times and caused a cut to his left arm, which was observed by officers. Sandra Kowalski told officers she only pushed the victim, but didn’t hit or cut him.
Sandra Kay Kowalski, 57, was charged with domestic assault and booked into the Metro Jail. She is free on a $2,500 bond.
