25-year-old Robert Gill has been indicted by the Davidson County Grand Jury on two counts of rape of an 18-year-old man, by means of fraud.

The indictment outlines that then 24-year-old Gill allegedly raped a man who was just 2 months past his 18th birthday. Confirmed inside the indictment, and by the alleged rapist, Robert Gill, the pair had sex in a Goodlettsville hotel room in late January, with Robert Gill being penetrated by the teenage victim’s penis.

The accused, Robert Gill, spoke with Scoop: Nashville via phone Friday morning, and acknowledged the pair had met in downtown Nashville earlier that day and had been together into the night, and had sex. He insisted the sex was consensual, and the victim both penetrated him with sexual intercourse and also performed anilingus on him.

Gill is specifically facing two counts of ‘rape by fraud’. While the specific details are sealed within the Grand Jury proceedings, several friends and family members of Gill spoke with Scoop: Nashville today and allege that it has been common for him to have young men in hotel rooms under the guise of having females over at a later point. We won’t know until trial if those are the same details for this case.
