Police say 30-year-old Andrew Scott, better known in the South as drag performer ‘Bianca Santana Knight‘ was charged with felony domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after screaming “I’ll show you drunk!” then grabbing a mirror from a wall and assaulting his roommate with it.
Metro Nashville Police responded to the Court Villa Apartments on September 15th, in response to a domestic disturbance call. According to police reports, Andrew Scott (aka Bianca Santana Knight) had read a Facebook post that upset him, and when his roommate, Kenneth Hayes, attempted to calm him down, Scott walked to the front of the apartment and announced he was leaving. Hayes attempted to stop the intoxicated Scott from leaving, and stated “calm down, you’re just drunk” – at which point Scott reportedly yelled back “I’ll show you drunk!” before grabbing a mirror hanging on the wall next to the front door and smashed it over the roommate’s head, with him now becoming the victim. He sustained injuries to his head, face, wrist and shoulder area, and went back into their bedroom and locked the door. Scott fled the scene before officers arrived.
A felony warrant for Andrew Scott’s arrest was issued, however, he had reportedly fled the state via a bus service. He was booked on the charges after returning to Tennessee, on September 23rd.
Andrew L. Scott was booked into the Metro Jail on September 23rd on the felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. After the state-mandated 12-hour domestic violence hole, he was released to his W. Heiman Street address on a $3,500 bond, posted by Free At Last. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Gale Robinson on October 17th.
