24-year-old Alexius Lashae Peters is accused of impacting the face of her ex-boyfriend with her closed fists, while he was stopped at a red light on Charlotte Pike with his new girlfriend. She then took their child and fled the scene.

A warrant for the arrest of Alexius Peters was issued on June 30th, 2019 – that’s when Metro Police say she pulled up next to her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle at the intersection of Charlotte & Cabot Drive. Inside the vehicle was her ex-boyfriend, George Wilson, Jr., their son, and his new girlfriend. The warrant details that Alexius approached his vehicle, and kicked the car while punching the driver’s window. He rolled down the window to prevent her from breaking the glass, at which time she punched him in the face with her closed fist approximately 4-5 times, leaving him with swollen marks on the right side of his face, per police.

She then took the child from the back seat of his vehicle and fled the scene. The argument reportedly started over a car seat. The ex-boyfriend/victim wanted to press charges but was en route to Humboldt, TN, so police prosecuted on his behalf due to the visible injuries on his face.

Just over 3 months after the warrant was issued, Alexius Lashae Peters was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 6th, charged with domestic assault. She is free on a $2,500 bond.
