Female, afraid to go home, takes down Joelton Marijuana Distribution Operation

A woman called Metro Police to report a marijuana distribution operation on Monday. Police discovered 31 large marijuana plants in a barn and 52 stuff in the back of a van. Brince Woods, Cyndi Green, Wendell Vaught, and Cory Wair, all arrested.

Information provided by a the female led to Monday evening’s discovery of an apparent marijuana distribution operation in the 8300 block of Riley Adcock Road in Joelton.  North Precinct officers and detectives recovered 31 large marijuana plants from a barn on the property along with 52 plants stuffed in the back of a van.

The investigation leads detectives to believe that the marijuana was grown elsewhere, likely in Kentucky, harvested, and then brought to the Joelton property. Four persons were arrested Monday night for possessing the marijuana plants.  They are identified as:

  • Brince Woods, 42, of Joelton, who is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  His bond is set at $25,000.
  • Cyndi Green, 26, of Springfield, whose bond is set at $20,000.
  • Wendell Vaughn, 23, of Joelton, whose bond is set at $20,000.
  • Cory Wair, 19, of Whites Creek, whose bond is set at $20,000.
