On 11/12/19, Fayette Hereford was seeking treatment at Vanderbilt University Hospital Medical Center North 3439 when she attempted to elope. Hereford currently has an active Medical Hold stating she cannot leave against medical advice due to her condition. Miriam Crumbly, the healthcare provider, attempted to contain Hereford on the floor, per her occupational duties. Miriam stated while trying to contain Ms. Hereford that Hereford pushed her twice and continued to walk throughout the hospital. Hereford “attempted to enter an elevator and struck Miriam in the right shoulder” states the report. VUPD located Hereford and returned her to her unit.

On December 17th, Fayette Hereford was transferred to the Metro Nashville Jail, where she remains jailed in lieu of a $2500.00 bond.
