A Davidson County Grand Jury has returned an 86-count indictment against 42-year old Jason New. Included are 59 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 17 counts rape of a child, 2 counts rape, and 8 counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.
The case was initially brought o Metro Police in April when his daughter disclosed that when she was 12-years-old, her father began sexually assaulting and raping her. Jason New is scheduled to be arraigned on December 11th, as he is currently out on bond since the initial arrest as the case was bound over to the Grand Jury.
