On December 15th, Metro Nashville Police responded to a call at the Ellington Apartments on Murfreesboro Pike in which Alexander Walter called the police himself, regarding an argument he had gotten into with his friend over cocaine. Walter was reportedly unsteady on his feet, slurring his speech, and smelled of alcohol. Walter stated that after the argument his friend kicked him out of the apartment and he now had nowhere to go. Officers believed Walter to be a danger to himself and others so he was taken into custody, charged with public intoxication.

Charges were dismissed after he had time to sober up, and he was released from custody.
