Josue said that Lakelynn lost her temper and began striking him around the face and head during the argument. He stated that he pushed Lakelynn away to get her off of him before she continued striking him. Josue went on to say that he turned his back to cover up and struck him on the top of his head with her fist as her ring caused a laceration on the top of his head. While he was attempting to cover himself up, she proceeded to bite him in the lower left side of his back. Josue stated that she punched him in the face multiple times with her closed fist. Police observed the laceration on Josue’s head, a visible bite mark on his back, and his nose was swollen and pointing at a 30-degree angle off center to his face.
