23-year-old Brian Marshall was charged with public intoxication after he was found trying to gain entry to the wrong Air BNB. He wasn’t sure what floor he was on, or where his friends from New Jersey were at, but he did know one thing: he was drunk.

Officers were dispatched to an Air BNB on 5th Avenue N, inside the 500 5th apartments, for a possible burglary. Upon arrival, officers found that the suspect, later identified as Brian Marshall, had not gained entry to the residence. Brian was observed knocking on room 909 but was stating that he is staying in room 209. In an attempt to get him to a safe place, officers knocked on room 209, however, there was no answer. Brian admitted that he had been drinking and told the officers, “I am drunk.” Marshall disclosed that he was with a group of friends, all visiting from New Jersey.

He smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. He was deemed incapable of caring for himself due to his level of intoxication and placed in custody as he was a danger to himself and to the general public. Brian was then transported to booking.

Brian Marshall was charged with public intoxication, and released after he sobered up with charges dismissed.
