30-year-old Mark Nave was charged with theft of merchandise after he stole 2 energy drinks from the Shell gas station on West End Avenue.
On September 12th, officers responded to the Shell gas station on West End Avenue in reference to a report of theft. When police arrived, the manager of the establishment stated that he personally witnessed Mark Nave place 2 energy drinks in his pockets and leave the premises.
He then said that he followed Mark outside and got his license plate number. He also had security footage of the incident. The manager wished to press charges against Mark and was assisted by the officers.
On February 13th, Mark Nave was arrested and charged for Theft of Merchandise. His bond was set at $1,000.
