26-year-old Michael Shuttleworth was charged with domestic assault after he and his boyfriend were involved in an argument that resulted in injuries to both parties.
On February 18th, Michael Shuttleworth and his boyfriend, Eric Izzo, were involved in an argument. Michael attempted to slam the door and lock Eric out of their bedroom but Eric “shouldered” the door which made it hit Michael. Michael then swung on Eric and hit him in the head which caused a bleeding wound. Both parties sustained injuries that were documented by police. Eric did not wish to press charges but police prosecuted on his behalf as per their policy, according to the affidavit.
Michael Shuttleworth was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault. His bond was set at $1,500.
