28-year-old Christopher Cline was charged with public intoxication after getting drunk at the airport and screaming into his phone about “homicide.”

On February 19th, police were dispatched to Spirit Airlines gate area A1 in reference to an intoxicated male who had been screaming into his phone about “homicide.” The subject was later identified as Christopher Cline. According to the affidavit, Christopher was causing such a disturbance that it impeded the airport’s ability to conduct business. Officers noticed that he smelled heavily of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, he was unsteady on his feet, and his clothes were dirty.

Christopher had told officers earlier that he had been drinking and was on medication. He was then taken into custody for his own safety due to his level of intoxication and inability to care for himself; as well as for causing an offensive environment that made it difficult to conduct business.

Christopher Cline was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, but the charge was later dismissed.
