32-year-old Tearson Dixie was arrested on an outstanding warrant, charging her with domestic assault and vandalism on Friday. She is alleged to went through her girlfriend’s phone, then tossed it at her face so hard she sought medical treatment at a hospital.
An arrest warrant details that Tearson Dixie[fb] was going through her girlfriend, Laquisha Turrentine’s[fb], phone when she became upset. The two began arguing and Tearson threw Laquisha’s phone at her face. The phone caused bruising and inflammation to Laquisha’s cheek and nose and she went to the hospital for treatment.
Laquisha supplied photos of her injuries from the incident and officers were able to see a healing abrasion on her face. She also stated that Tearson had kicked her bedroom door and officers saw holes in the door which caused approximately $100.00 worth of damage. An arrest warrant was issued for Tearson, and served on her Friday.
Tearson Dixie is charged with domestic assault & vandalism and is free on a $2500.00 bond.
