55-year-old Gregory Robert Shea, who is one of the owners of the Roux in downtown Clarksville was arrested Sunday night, charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. He is free tonight on a $100,000 bond. Investigators located over 100 images and videos on an iPad inside the restaurant’s office and the owner admitted to “having a problem”.
Just before 6 p.m. Sunday evening Clarksville police took one of the owners of the Roux restaurant into custody, charging him with sexual exploitation of a minor. He posted a $100,000 bond Monday, is free until his court date. Investigator Adam Liberatore initially executed a search warrant on both the 129 Strawberry Alley residence and 125 Franklin St restaurant address, Roux.
During the search, Greg Shea admitted to “having a problem” with and being in possession of child pornography, and told detectives where it would be located in the restaurant office. Just as described, over 100 images and videos of child pornographic material were found on an iPad Air. Shea is scheduled to appear in court on March 13th. A visit to the restaurant during the typical lunch rush on Tuesday revealed a cook sitting at the front table, and no customers in the building.
