Drunk man thinks he’s in Michigan while breaking a window at Comfort Inn

24-year-old Kenneth Kortman was charged with public intoxication and vandalism after officers found him attempting to vandalize a truck while thinking he was in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

On March 14th, Kenneth Kortman was attempting to vandalize hotel property while at the Comfort Inn on Demonbreun Street. Kenneth broke a hotel window while he was intoxicated. When police arrived, they found Kenneth trying to vandalize an empty truck where he thought his friend was.

When officers asked Kenneth where he was, he responded “Grand Rapids, Michigan.” Officers also noted Kenneth smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.

Kenneth Kortman was arrested and charged with public intoxication and vandalism. His bond was set at $1,500.
