Man found stumbling around 4th Avenue North after work; charged with public intoxication

26-year-old Brandon Brindley was charged with public intoxication and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia when he was found stumbling around 4th Avenue North after leaving Alley Taps while intoxicated.

On February 25th, officers received a call from security at Alley Taps in reference to an intoxicated male acting belligerent around 4th Avenue North. Security advised police they followed the subject, later identified as Brandon Brindley, into the parking garage at 14 4th Avenue North and witnessed him attempting to enter a vehicle so he detained him.

Brandon told police that he works at Alley Taps. Officers reported that Brandon smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, and was unsteady on his feet. Brandon was then taken into custody and transported to jail for his own safety. Upon search incident to arrest, police found a wooden container and a metal one-hitter made to look like a cigarette that contained burnt marijuana residue.

Brandon Brindley was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,250.
