23-year-old Donaire Fanene was charged with aggravated assault after he knocked a man unconscious for a comment he made about his girlfriend.
On July 28th, 2019, Andrew McGlothen was walking down 3rd Avenue North when Donaire Fanene approached him from behind and confronted him. Donaire then tackled Andrew to the ground and began punching him in the face knocking him unconscious.
Andrew was transported to Vanderbilt for life-threatening head injuries. Donaire admitted to police that he assaulted Andrew after he made a comment about his girlfriend.
On March 2nd, Donaire Fanene was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set at $10,000.
