24-year-old Angel Flores was charged with assault, indecent exposure, sexual battery, and evading arrest after women in Nashville reported him for sexually touching and chasing them while wearing no pants.
On March 16th, officers were called to Crestridge Apartments on Thompson Place about a disorderly person. According to affidavits, in two separate incidents, Angel Flores victimized both Tonya Farr and Gladys Sanchez. Tonya told officers that Angel “caressed” her buttock and asked if she had a boyfriend while she was taking her trash out. She said he chased her back to her apartment and she could even hear him linger outside her door after she barricaded herself inside. While getting Tonya’s statement, Angel was located in the complex and evaded authorities by concealing himself in apartment B-13.
As officers were attempting to get someone inside to open the door at B-13, Gladys approached officers as they were interviewing Tonya. She told them she was in the breezeway on her phone around 11:00 p.m. when Angel walked up the stairs toward her naked from the waist down. She noted she could “plainly see” his “genitals and buttocks.” Angel did not engage in conversation with Gladys but touched her thigh causing her to shriek and seek refuge in her neighbor’s apartment. Both women gave a similar description of the suspect. Officers finally got the 5 male occupants of apartment B-13 to open their door and identified Angel Flores, who admitted he ran from them but denied the incidents with Tonya and Gladys. Angel claimed he was outside waiting for his girlfriend to visit him at the time of the events.
Angel Flores was arrested and charged with assault, indecent exposure, sexual battery, and evading arrest. His bond was set at $21,000.
