30-year-old Javelyn Stubbs was charged with aggravated burglary after she broke a window to gain access to her boyfriend’s apartment where she took off with his keys.

On April 10th, 2016, Jamal Coleman told police that Jevelyn Stubbs, his girlfriend at the time, came to his bedroom window at the Preserve at Metrocenter Apartments. Jamal stated that shortly after he heard her voice, Javelyn began pushing the bottom of his bedroom window open, dislodging it and causing it to fall to the floor and shatter.

Javelyn then entered his room through the window and Jamal took off down the hallway and ran into the lobby. Javelyn did not reside with Jamal. While inside his apartment, she took some of her items and his keys. According to Jamal, Javelyn then fled the scene in a vehicle but he was unsure which direction.

On March 11th, Javelyn Stubbs was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. Her bond was set at $2,500.
