47-year-old Cheryl Sebastion was charged with assault and vandalism after she confronted her apartment office manager about an eviction notice. Police say she threw a desktop computer, tipped a filing cabinet and tried to rip the manager’s clothes off.

On March 17th, Officer Henry was called to Preston Run Apartments in Goodlettsville in reference to an assault. According to affidavits, manager Tabitha Mills alerted authorities after tenant Cheryl Sebastion visited the office in response to an eviction notice. The woman had a brief verbal exchange where Sebastion tried to pay on her balance and Mills told her she couldn’t facilitate that because the account had been turned over to their attorney.

At this juncture, Sebastion moved around the desk and seized Mills’ car keys, Mills promptly took them back but this provoked an outburst. Cheryl Sebastion told Ms. Mills she was going to destroy the office and started throwing glass trophies, tipped over a filing cabinet, and even hurled a desktop computer. When Mills said she was calling the police, Sebastion targeted her instead by tearing at her clothing. While Mills did not sustain any visible injuries, the property damage was valued at $1,750.

Cheryl Sebastion was arrested and charged with assault and vandalism. Her bond was set at $5,000 and she was freed on pre-trial release.
