24-year-old Anterrio Partee was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest after he was unable to produce documentation and police smelled marijuana during initial contact. After a defiant apprehension he was also found to have an outstanding warrant.

On March 31st, Anterrio Partee was stopped by Officer Willie Reaves for cutting through a private driveway at Jack In The Box located at 1504 Hampton Street. According to the affidavit, when the officer asked for Partee’s license, insurance, and registration he told Officer Reaves he didn’t have any of the items. During the initial exchange, the officer noted the “odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle” and therefore asked Partee to step out of the vehicle. Partee refused and tried to roll his window up with the officer’s hand inside.

After this entire incident, it was discovered that Partee’s driver’s license was suspended and he had an outstanding warrant. A probable cause search of the vehicle produced a digital scale and a “small bag of marijuana.”

Anterrio Partee was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
