35-year-old Alexander Robin Hood was charged with public intoxication when a bystander called to report a man with red hair and a weapon climbing a pole across the street and he refused to cooperate with officers to get home safely.
On April 21st, a complainant called dispatch and reported a white male with red hair and a weapon was climbing a pole across the street from their location. Upon arrival to Shelby Avenue near South 12th Street officers observed an individual who matched the caller’s description.
According to the affidavit, officers immediately observed inebriated behaviors and Alexander Robin Hood told them he “was in fact drunk”. He did not have a weapon and despite his insubordination attempted to “find him a safe place to go.” Hood’s level of intoxication and lack of cooperation led to his being deemed unsafe.
Alexander Robin Hood was arrested and charged with public intoxication. The charge was later dismissed.
