Eventually, SWAT and K9 units were deployed to clear the building and they located Bold on a first-floor stairway. When questioned, Bold told officers he breached the property to utilize a port-o-potty and then decided to take a nap in a closet. The report also noted this is not the first time Cory Bold has been removed from a construction site and infers that he is likely to offend again.

Cory Bold was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal trespassing. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
