At some point, Prechawn, the two sisters, and their mother decided to go to a store when Jerock blocked them in and initiated a verbal confrontation with mom. Prechawn opened his door to exit the vehicle and Jerock inserted his leg through the door asking “are you trying to fight?” During this intimidation, he also pulled out a “realistic” looking BB gun. Prechawn testified his brother did not flag him with the gun or say he would shoot him but he was fearful that Jerock would do so. The mother and sisters corroborated theses statements and also confirmed that they felt fearful and believed Jerock would shoot Prechawn.

On September 30th, a male and female went into the Mapco at 2301 Murfreesboro Pike and proceeded to get away with a number of lottery tickets. Security footage revealed that the female of the pair acted as a lookout while the male reached around the counter and lifted multiple lottery tickets. After the preoccupied cashier was finished with the previous customer, the male also asked to purchase an entire roll of lottery tickets.

Once she retrieved them he took them and left in a black sedan, without paying. After some investigation, the Lottery Commission advised the stolen tickets had been cashed at Fannin Market located at 102 Fannin Drive, approximately nine hours later. The report states that video surveillance from Fannin Market shows Jerock Walker redeeming the tickets. It also evidenced Jerock’s registered black Kia Forte.

On March 26th, Jerock Walker was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of theft of merchandise, and theft of property. His bond was set at $8,000.
