35-year-old Dedrick Butler was charged with domestic assault after he bit the victim multiple times in the face and shoulder.
On November 8th, 2019, police were dispatched to a domestic dispute between Dedrick Butler and Cindy Davis. Cindy stated the confrontation started as a verbal argument but escalated physically when Dedrick bit her in the face twice and bit her shoulder as well. Officers observed clear, visible injuries on Cindy’s person. Dedrick had fled the scene prior to police response.
Cindy told officers that Dedrick committed these acts because he was upset and is violent toward her. Dedrick was determined to be the primary aggressor and Cindy asked for aid in prosecution over the matter. A witness stated that she was on the phone when Dedrick assaulted Cindy but was not physically present during the alleged attack.
On April 1st, Dedrick Butler was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $1,500.
