23-year-old Ronisha Bates was charged with domestic assault after she was involved in an argument that led to pushing and a busted lip, per report.
On April 5th, officers were dispatched to 3704 Plantation Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Ronisha Bates told officers she was involved in a physical altercation with Donte White that started at a friend’s house.
She said the argument was about how she puts her daughter first over him, according to the affidavit. Ronisha admitted that she pushed Donte because she was upset. Donte then punched her in the face and busted her lip and that’s when she called police. After she called, Donte left with one of his friends.
Officers noted that because Ronisha pushed Donte first, she was considered to be the primary aggressor.
Ronisha Bates was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
