28-year-old Chelsea Clark was charged with domestic assault, harassment, and vandalism after she punched her fiance in the face, pulled some of his hair out, punched his TV, and then later blew his phone up while calling from a hotel in Knoxville, per report.
On January 3rd, police were dispatched to Tampa Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with James Thomas, who stated that his fiancee Chelsea Clark attacked him. James told officers he and Chelsea were having an argument over dinner and she escalated the matter physically. Chelsea began hitting James in the face and pulling his hair, per the affidavit. Police observed a large portion of hair on the floor along with a noticeable patch of hair missing from James’ scalp. James also mentioned that Chelsea punched his TV and broke the display before she left and police observed the damaged television.
On January 25th, James reported that the night prior he received a call from the phone number (865) 687-4607 that read “Shauna Jones” on the caller ID. When James picked up the phone he found that it was Chelsea on the other end. Chelsea began threatening James and stated that she was going to assault him again just as she did before, according to the affidavit. James blocked the number but found that he had received another 9 calls from America’s Best Value Hotel in Knoxville where he believes Chelsea is staying.
James told police that he believes the number was Chelsea attempting to make contact again after he blocked the first number. James has a temporary order of protection against Chelsea. Chelsea also has two outstanding domestic warrants that James was the victim of. Chelsea has a documented history of multiple domestic assaults dating back to January of 2018 including one she was indicted over.
On March 30th, Chelsea Clark was arrested and charged with domestic assault, harassment, and vandalism. Her bond was set at $10,000.
