46-year-old Mostapha Aznag was charged with aggravated assault by strangulation when his wife told authorities he had yanked her out of bed and strangled her for not having sex with him.
On May 18th, Nashville Metro Police were called to 5101 Harding Place. According to the affidavit, Sanae Boutkhamouin told officers that the night prior her husband Mostapha Aznag yanked her out of bed saying “you will not sleep with me.”
He then seized her by the neck and she struggled to breathe but did not pass out. Authorities noted injuries she had sustained were consistent with her story.
Mostapha Aznag was arrested and charged with aggravated assault strangulation. His bond was set at $3,000.
