Belle Meade “Botox Lady” charged with DUI after hit and run, utility pole crash

63-year-old Susan Rothschild was charged with leaving the scene and driving under the influence when the prominent Belle Meade “botox lady” smashed into a utility pole a few miles from a hit and run she was also involved in.

On May 20th, Nashville Metro Police Officers were dispatched to investigate a hit and run at 7713 River Fork Drive. According to affidavits, Susan Rothschild was party to a hit and run accident occurring at Highway 100 and Temple Road. After that incident, she drove several miles where she smashed into a utility pole.

She admitted to officers that she had consumed a medication for pain relief with alcohol in an attempt to fall asleep. Susan alleged that she did not know what the medication was. Authorities noted a cup of wine and a strong odor of booze emanating from her vehicle. The report also thoroughly covered Susan’s performance on field sobriety tests.

Susan Rothschild was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of accident and driving under the influence of an intoxicant. She was later freed on pre-trial release.
