25-year-old Thaddeus Delk & 26-year-old Tony Turner were taken into custody by Nashville Airport Police after K9 Havoc assisted in a search. Delk was already under investigation and identified the other male he was traveling with. Between the pair, police seized 19.5 pounds of marijuana bud & related THC items, among 8 vacuum sealed bricks.
On May 14th, Nashville Airport investigators were notified that K9 Havoc had alerted to the odor of narcotics coming from a small black roller bag coming from a flight from California – of which the arresting officer noted was “a source for narcotics”. The tag on the bag identified passenger Thaddeus Delk as the owner. Investigators observed the passengers, and set the black roller bag onto the baggage belt. They observed Thaddeus claim the bag, at which point he was detained by both plain clothes officers the uniform arresting officer.
Delk revealed he was traveling with another male, who he identified as Tony Turner. Delk gave consent to search his bags, revealing 2 vacuum sealed bricks of marijuana bud along with numerous other THC products. Total was was 6 pounds (2721.55 grams), and he was charged with possession with intent to distribute.

Tony Turner, who was also previously observed interacting with Delk, was also detained, and consented to a search of his bag, and confirmed he was traveling with Delk. The search revealed 6 vacuum sealed bricks of marijuana bud, multiple THC products, a grinder, a digital scale, vacuum sealer bags, and a vacuum sealer machine. Total weight of THC related items was 13.5 pounds (6123.49 grams). Turner was charged with both possession with intent to distribute and paraphanelia charges.
Thaddeus Delk, 25, is free on a 25,000 bond. Tony Turner, 26, is free on a $27,500 bond. Both are scheduled to appear in court in early June.
