Goodlettsville man states he hugged his girlfriend too hard bloodying her lip

25-year-old Kyle Crumpler was charged with domestic assault and violation of bond conditions after his girlfriend reported that he hit her in the face and while he admitted there was an altercation, he was only guilty of hugging her too tight and pushing her on the bed, per report.

On May 8th, Officer Swift was dispatched to Magnuson Hotel at 809 Wren Road in Goodlettsville on a domestic violence call. Officer Swift made contact with Michelle Norris, the victim, and noticed she had a bloody lip. She told the officer that her boyfriend Kyle Crumpler had struck her in the face.

He said that there was no altercation and that he had just hugged her too tight and threw her onto the bed. Crumpler has an order of protection against Norris. He also admitted to drinking, which violates his bond conditions.

Kyle Crumpler was arrested and charged with contempt-conditional bond release violation and domestic assault. His bond was set at $5,000.
