Kroger trespasser ‘refuses to listen’ to warnings

50-year-old Damon Washington was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing in a Kroger parking lot after being warned twice to stay off the property. Police also found him to be intoxicated and barely able to stand, per report.

On May 20th, Officer Musgrave responded to a call at 200 Gallatin Pike South in regard to a trespasser on the premises of a Kroger parking lot. Damon Washington, who had been told twice to remain off of the grocery store’s property, continually reappeared at the location.

Musgrave noted that Washington smelled of alcohol and that he could barely stand on his own two feet. After being deemed a “danger to the public,” Washington was taken into custody.

Damon Washington was arrested and charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
