33-year-old Eric Ogara was charged with aggravated assault by strangulation after he showed up while Tishona Hayes was visiting with her niece and demanded to know where their child was located. When she refused, he choked her and threatened to kill her.
On April 13th, officers were called to 1665 Pearl Street in reference to a potential domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Tishona Haynes reported that she was involved in a physical altercation with Eric Ogara.
According to the affidavit, Tishona said she was at the location visiting with her niece when Eric arrived and demanded to know the location of their child. When she refused to give him the location, he started choking her and threatened to kill her. Tishona stated to police that she was afraid for her life.
On April 29th, Eric Ogara was arrested and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation. His bond was set at $5,000.
