Man sleeps at wheel, blocks road for over an hour: says he had four Coronas

34-year-old Aaron Domingues was charged with driving under the influence, driving with no license, and implied consent after he passed out behind the wheel and blocked traffic in both directions at Paragon Mills and Tampa Road for over an hour.

On May 19th, officers responded to a call about a car jamming up the road at Paragon Mills and Tampa Road. The vehicle obstructed traffic going both ways for over an hour. Officers found Domingues asleep at the wheel with the vehicle still running.

Police turned off the car and asked him to complete field sobriety tests at the Paragon Mills Church of Christ located at 4828 Aster Dr. He failed those tests. His eyes were watery and bloodshot. He was unsteady on his feet. Domingues admitted to drinking four Corona beers. He had no license and refused to take a breath test.

Aaron Domingues was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving with no license, and implied consent. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
