Nashville man assaults ex-girlfriend, vandalizes her car while their child watches

21-year-old Mario Mcadoo was charged with domestic assault and vandalism of his after he was involved in an altercation with his ex-girlfriend where he punched her in the arm three times, told her to pull over so he could “beat her ass”, did damage to her car, then bit her on the hand while their child observed from the backseat.

On May 20th, Officer Justen Ogle was dispatched near Clarksville Pike in regards to a domestic violence case. The victim, Destyni Ivory, claimed to have been driving with ex-boyfriend Mario Mcadoo and their child in her car. While in transit, Mcadoo punched Ivory three times in the arm and demanded her to pull over somewhere so he could “beat her ass”, per report.

Ivory then pulled into the parking lot of the EZ Mart gas station on Clarksville Pike, calling the police when parked. Video feed from the EZ Mart confirmed that, as Ivory began the call with police, Mcadoo took hold of a comb within the vehicle and scratched his arm with it. Ivory also attested to Mcadoo’s destruction of her vehicle: a broken blinker, destroyed windshield wiper lever, and significant damage to the ignition of the car.

As the call continued, Mcadoo grabbed their child and began to walk down Clarksville Pike. Ivory followed and a brief altercation ensued over the child. Mcadoo bit Ivory on the hand, who then punched him in the head, per the affidavit.

Mario Mcadoo was arrested and charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and vandalism. His bond was set at $2,500.
