Nashville man’s ex tells police he threatened to cut and burn up her tent

63-year-old Gerald Richard was charged with harassment when his ex-girlfriend told officers that she was afraid of him because he had threatened to cut up and burn her tent and called her 31 times in one day.

On April 30th, Kirby Gray testified to officers that her ex-boyfriend Gerald Richard was having a hard time accepting their break-up and had been harassing her.

According to the affidavit, Ms. Gray told authorities she is afraid of Richard because he threatened to cut up and burn the tent she stays in. On April 28th Richard called thirty-one times and she finally blocked him.

Gerald Richard was arrested and charged with harassment. His bond was set at $1,000.
