30-year-old Christine Humes was charged with theft of property when Wash Me Express provided security footage to police that revealed her hiding cash after she removed it from a drive-up kiosk.
On June 1st, 2019, Wash Me Express filed a complaint with the Metro Nashville Police Department advising that Christine Humes had embezzled $3,834 from them on May 28th, 2019.
Wash Me Express provided authorities with camera footage showing Christine Humes drive up to a kiosk, remove cash, and hide it in a small bag.
On May 19th, 2020, Christine Humes was arrested and charged with theft of property. She was later freed on pre-trial release.
