Public Intox: Mullet man passes out in middle of road

22-year-old Andrew Greene was charged with public intoxication after officers found him passed out and face down in the middle of Horner Avenue where he almost was run over.

On May 24th, officers responded to a call about a man who was in the road and who had almost been hit on Horner Avenue.

The police had to try for several minutes to wake Andrew Greene. According to the affidavit, he smelled strongly like alcohol. Greene had slurred speech and had difficulty standing up. Police took him to jail due to him presenting a danger to himself and others.

Andrew Greene was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Charges were later dismissed.
