On May 22th, around midnight, Metro Nashville Officers were called to 5041 Olivia Drive to investigate an order of protection violation. Batwan Kokoyi has been involved in numerous domestic incidents that lead to this order of protection violation. In June of 2017 he was charged with domestic assault when he gave his father a bloody nose, February 2018 he was charged again with DA for threatening to kill his 9-year-old sibling and a month later got his first OOP violation charge. He got a second OOP violation charge in January 2019 making this is at least his 3rd similar charge. One of the many affidavits concerning Batwan calls him a self-professed gang member with “access to firearms.”

Bawan Kokoyi was arrested and charged with order of protection violation. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
