Teen jailed for assault claims he only strangled his girlfriend during consensual sex

19-year-old Matias Horn was charged with aggravated assault when his girlfriend told authorities he strangled her during an argument. He denied having ever strangled her besides during consensual intercourse.

On May 13th, according to an affidavit, Elizabeth Gray told Nashville Metro officers that an argument with her boyfriend Matias Horn had escalated when he strangled her.

She explained that although she never lost consciousness her breathing was restricted. Horn denied strangling his girlfriend other than during consensual intercourse.

Matias Horn was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
