19-year-old Zeineb Charles was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, consumption of alcohol under 21, and resisting arrest when someone reported a fight and when officers arrived they encountered her angry, confrontational, screaming, and hitting cars.
On May 3rd, officers were called to a fight at Cedar Pointe Apartments located at 1211 Bell Road. When they arrived they found Zeineb Charles to be belligerent, reeking of alcohol and refusing to be calmed. According to the affidavit, she admitted to drinking and refused to cooperate.
Officers observed her shrieking, flapping her arms, and at one point she struck a vehicle triggering the alarm. Charles also refused to go home and told authorities she was going to get arrested. She also attempted to use force to resist arrest and was later discovered to be under the age of twenty-one.
Zeineb Charles was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, consumption of alcohol under 21, and resisting arrest. She was later freed on pretrial release.
