38-year-old Erica Faw was charged with domestic assault when her boyfriend told authorities that she attempted to strangle him while he was driving because he wouldn’t give her lip balm.
On May 2nd, Walmond Webb told officers he and girlfriend Erica Faw had been in a verbal altercation for most of the day. According to the affidavit, Webb told authorities that the day before, May 1st, he was driving near Cahal Avenue and Gallatin Road after leaving his cousin’s home and Faw was in the backseat.
Faw asked him for lip balm and upon his declination, she proceeded to squeeze his neck while he was driving. He reported the incident later at night court to see an order of protection. Officers noted Webb had a scrape on his neck.
On May 7th, Erica Faw was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
